Truncated Views from the Basin is a homage to the beauty and co habitat between architecture and landscape in the San Gabriel Valley and outer laying regions.After living in NYC for over a decade Silva returned to Southern California in 2014 to find a new and nuanced appreciation for his California roots. In this series the artist explores the beauty through his own lens establishing architectural and landscape references that blur the lines between inner and outer forms, negative and positive space.
